Engineering and Inspections that Shape the Future
The engineering department was established to manage all engineering design and inspection of residential and commercial projects within Liberty County and each municipality (Hinesville, Flemington, Midway, Riceboro, Allenhurst, Walthourville, and Gum Branch). The engineering department is staffed by the Liberty Consolidated Planning Commission.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Liberty Consolidated Planning Commission engineering department is “to provide sound guidance for the best engineering solution, implementation of ordinances, operational standard procedures, and best management practices from the design stage to the construction stage of each project.” Our goal is also “to ensure all developments within Liberty County comply with rules, regulations, and ordinances, and to assist the citizens of Liberty County with best practices for their property development improvements upon request”.
