Updated Sep 15, 2019

Mardee joined the LCPC team in August of 2019, relocating to Coastal Georgia after having spent most of her life in New England.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mardee spent five years working for private engineering consulting firms in Boston before moving to Vermont to raise her family. In 1996, Mardee returned to professional life, becoming the Town Engineer and Zoning Administrator for the Town of Randolph, VT, positions she held for 24 years. In those capacities, she worked with developers, homeowners, and several municipal committees to plan, facilitate, and oversee both residential and commercial development, as well as improvements and repairs to Town infrastructure. She also worked with the committees to rewrite the Town’s zoning and subdivision bylaws and ordinances for the public water and wastewater systems.

During her tenure in Vermont, Mardee was appointed to the Vermont Water Resources Board by then Governor Howard Dean.  She also served as Zoning Administrator for the Town of Braintree, VT; Chairperson of the Planning Commission for the Town of Brookfield, VT; and as Tree Warden, Sewage Officer, and Emergency 911 Coordinator for the Town of Randolph.  Mardee also played the French horn with the Vermont Philharmonic and enjoyed hiking in the Green Mountains.
