May 19, 2020 Planning Commission Virtual Meeting

Due to restrictions set by the State of Georgia in reference to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Liberty Consolidated Planning Commission will be hosting a virtual public hearing online on May 19, 2020, at 4:30 PM. To participate at the meeting or listen in: You may speak at the meeting by calling in via telephone or joining the Zoom conference.

1. You must register online using the Google Form no less than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting time. If you intend to call in by phone, you must enter the same phone number you’ll be calling with on the Google Form.

2. If you wish to connect by internet:

a. You will need to call in before the start of the meeting (no earlier than 4:15 PM) or click on the following link from your computer, tablet, or smartphone: Zoom Meeting Link

b. You will be placed in the queue and muted but you will still be able to see and hear the meeting proceedings

c. Please enter your first and last name as your display name on Zoom so that we may call on you quickly and efficiently when it is your turn

3. If you wish to connect by phone:

a. Dial +16468769923 and enter Meeting ID 371 468 611

b. You will be placed in the queue and muted, but you will be able to hear the meeting proceedings

4. The Chairman will call your name when the petition you signed up to speak for is opened for public hearing

5. You will be unmuted for the duration of the proceeding

6. You will be given 3 minutes to speak. Please state your name clearly for legal record before you begin speaking.

7. Recommendations from the LCPC will go to the Hinesville City Council on June 4 or the Liberty County Board of Commissioners on June 2 respectively for final decisions. Please check back on our website for instructions on how to attend those meetings virtually.
