Former Mayor Levern Clancy Jr. Is a devoted public servant whose life reflects decades of service to his country, his community, and his faith. He proudly served in the United States Army for eight years, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to duty, discipline, and leadership.
Following his military service, Mayor Clancy spent over 30 years as a professional truck driver, earning a reputation for hard work, reliability, and dedication. His years on the road gave him a deep appreciation for working families and the importance of strong infrastructure and local economies.
Mayor Clancy continued his service to the public as a City Councilman for 12 years, where he advocated for responsible leadership, community development, and policies that strengthened neighborhoods and supported local businesses. His experience and integrity eventually led him to serve as Mayor, where he worked to unite the community and promote progress for future generations.
In addition to his civic service, Levern Clancy Jr. is a respected Elder in his church, where he faithfully service and provides spiritual guidance to many. He is also a proud member of Limerick Lodge #436, Chapter 336, where he remains active and committed to the mission of brotherhood, charity, and community service.
