Lori Parks, Zoning Administrator
Lori is a native of Liberty County. She has lived in Hinesville and Midway most of her life and she graduated from Bradwell Institute. Lori moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in the 80’s where she received her Executive Secretary Certification from Delta Business College.
She began her career as a receptionist and quickly moved up to Estimator with a major home builder, JBL Properties, Ltd. in New Orleans.
After returning to Liberty County in the 90’s she continued her career in the construction field and was employed by M. L. Porten Construction Company for 6 years. Lori was involved with many commercial construction projects in Hinesville during her employment with M.L. Porten.
Subsequent to her work in the construction field, Lori worked 15 years for Liberty County Government. Having worked in the Tax Commissioners office, the Assessors Office and the Planning and Zoning/Building Department, Lori brings considerable experience and qualifications to the LCPC in her role as zoning administrator.
