Mardee A. Sanchez, P.E., CFM, Engineering Director

Mardee joined the LCPC team in August of 2019, relocating to Coastal Georgia after having spent most of her life in New England.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mardee spent five years working for private engineering consulting firms in Boston before moving to Vermont to raise her family. In 1996, Mardee returned to professional life, becoming the Town Engineer and Zoning Administrator for the Town of Randolph, VT, positions she held for 24 years.

During her tenure in Vermont, Mardee was appointed to the Vermont Water Resources Board by then Governor Howard Dean.  She also served as Zoning Administrator for the Town of Braintree, VT; Chairperson of the Planning Commission for the Town of Brookfield, VT; and as Tree Warden, Sewage Officer, and Emergency 911 Coordinator for the Town of Randolph.
