EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The LCPC Executive Director is responsible for all aspects of the LCPC to include Administrative, Zoning, Engineering, Planning, Transportation, Design & Review, Inspections, Ordinances, and revisions to Ordinances. The Executive Director, at his discretion, may delegate any responsibilities to staff.

ZONING

The LCPC Zoning Department is responsible for county-wide land use actions for our eight governmental entities in Liberty County as well as facilitating for some of these entities items such as business licenses, sign permits and mobile home permits.  The Zoning Department is also authorized to administratively approve minor subdivision plats.

ENGINEERING AND INSPECTIONS

The LCPC Engineering and Inspections Department is responsible for all site plan and subdivision reviews and approvals and engineering construction inspections for compliance with approved plans and erosion, sediment and pollution control plan.   Additionally, the Director of Engineering staffs and facilitates the Liberty Regional Water Resources Council and its Technical Advisory Committee.
