Todd Kennedy
Todd joined the LCPC in September 2024. Prior to his arrival, he was with Albany-Dougherty
County in Southwest Georgia for four years. Todd is a native of Gilroy, California.
Todd was educated in Arizona where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Environmental Planning from Northern Arizona University in 2004. Following college, Todd
worked several jobs to get his career on track. Todd went back to Graduate School at Arizona
State University in 2006. At that same time, he took a position with Apache Junction, Arizona
where he worked as a full-time Planner while completing his master’s degree. Todd earned his
Master’s Degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State in 2011. Todd
relocated to Cheyenne, Wyoming where he worked as a City Planner and similar positions prior
to returning home to California in 2014.
Todd was in California from 2014 to 2020 where he worked for several jurisdictions, including
the City and County of San Francisco, San Pablo and San Juan Bautista where Todd obtained
valuable knowledge and skills in Historic Preservation, Current Planning, Transportation
Planning and Environmental Planning.
In 2020, Todd relocated to Georgia with his parents so his entire family can all be together here
in Georgia. Todd is happy to now be in Coastal Georgia where he enjoys the ocean and getting
involved with conservation-oriented activities.
