Durand Standard, LCPC Commissioner

Durand Standard is currently employed with DS Smith as the Human Resources Manager for the Riceboro Paper Mill. Prior to DS Smith, Durand was Vice President and General Manger of CenturyLink. In addition to serving as an LCPC Commissioner for the past 14 years, he previously served on the Liberty Regional Medical Center Hospital Authority, was the President of the Georgia Telephone Association in 2003 and 2013, and served on the First Presbyterian Christian Academy School Board. Durand is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hinesville, and is married with two children.

As a life-long resident of Liberty County, Durand’s goal for the County while a Commissioner for LCPC is to encourage smart growth while serving citizens, municipalities, and county government. It is his intent to help plan for the wise use of our assets and to provide quality residential, commercial, and recreational growth in our communities.
